The Ankeny Police Protective and Benevolent Association is hosting a
waffle breakfast in support of Cedar Rapids Police Officer Tim Davis.
Officer Davis was critically injured responding to an armed robbery
call. All proceeds generated from the waffle breakfast will be going to
his recovery needs. The date of the waffle breakfast is Sunday, June
7th, 2009, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The benefit is going to be held at
the Lakeside Center, at Hawkeye Park, in Ankeny, Iowa. Waffles will be
prepared by Dad's Belgian Waffles. We are selling tickets in advance
for $6.00 and $7.00 at the door. We are also accepting donations. All

This benefit is being held with the permission of Tim Davis' family.
This is an all you can eat waffle breakfast, with children 5 and under
eating free. Waffles are served with sausage and beverage. Take-out
containers are also available.
We will be selling Ankeny Police Department challenge coins at the
breakfast, with all proceeds going to Tim Davis. This is a good
opportunity for our community to support a great cause. Not to mention
have a good meal at a reasonable price. This is going to be a great

them. The price of the wrist band is $5.00 with proceeds going to
Officer Davis. The wrist bands are a nice show of support for Officer
